Goal

We have used PXE boot menu for years. The problem was that we had to maintain a server for every customer.

That's when we looked at iPXE so we were able to centralize the server and used it for every customer.

Infrastructure

We mainly work with Microsoft Server so we looked at IIS in combination with WDS.

Code

Install WDS

Install-WindowsFeature wds-deployment -includemanagementtools

Configure WDS

$wdsUtilResults = wdsutil /initialize-server /remInst:"D:\remInstall"

Install IIS

Install-WindowsFeature Web-Server -IncludeManagementTools
